The following sample Nikon D700 and D3 .NEF files were taken by me at Photo Plus Expo 2008 in NYC.
The originals below were taken over a short period of time with the cameras set to default at various
ISO
sensitivities. The D3 was shot through a 300mm f/2.8, 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4 and 600mm f/4. All lenses are the latest
generation AF-S II, VR-II and Nano Coating. The D700 images were shot with a 24-70mm f/2.8 AF-S Nikkor and the AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G.
