The following sample Nikon D3s High ISO images and Videos were taken at
Photo+ Expo in NYC October 22nd and 23rd 2009 in New York City.

Nikon D3s High ISO Video Sample

Various Video Clips shot with a Nikon D3s at various High ISO settings from ISO 12800 all the way up to ISO HI3 or 102400 Equivalent. The first one was put together in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and output to MPEG4 container using h264 codec via Adobe Encoder at VBR ~25 Mb/s.

The second clip is the same except it was appended in MKVMergeGUI to a Matroska container but it retains the original source Motion JPEG frames direct from the camera.

** WARNING **

Video files are large. The MP4 file is 1.5GB and will not stream. The MKV file is 1GB and will also not stream. It is best if you RIGHT-CLICK and download them to your workstation first before viewing.

The following sample Nikon D700 and D3 .NEF files were taken by me at Photo Plus Expo 2008 in NYC.
The originals below were taken over a short period of time with the cameras set to default at various
ISO sensitivities. The D3 was shot through a 300mm f/2.8, 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4 and 600mm f/4. All lenses are the latest
generation AF-S II, VR-II and Nano Coating. The D700 images were shot with a 24-70mm f/2.8 AF-S Nikkor and the AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G.

various apertures showing associated diffraction limitations at smaller apertures
